Campion Pumps is one of Ireland’s leading providers of water and wastewater pumping solutions. For over 35 years, we have designed, supplied, installed and maintained pumping systems for local authorities, utilities, commercial clients and developers across Ireland.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially minded Business Development & Client Relations Manager to strengthen existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities across Ireland.

About the Role

This is a customer-facing role where you will spend much of your time visiting clients, attending site meetings and working closely with our project managers, engineering teams and customers to develop opportunities and deliver excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with existing customers while identifying new projects and supporting business growth across our range of engineering services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Visit customer sites throughout Ireland to identify opportunities and provide support.
  • Attend client meetings, project meetings and site visits.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and convert enquiries into projects.
  • Support Project Managers and Operations teams throughout project delivery.
  • Work closely with estimating and engineering teams to develop customer solutions.
  • Promote Campion Pumps’ products and engineering services.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and follow up on opportunities.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of projects and business opportunities.
  • Represent Campion Pumps at industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction before, during and after project completion.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in business development, sales, account management or engineering.
  • Enjoys meeting customers and building long-term relationships.
  • Has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Is commercially aware and motivated to grow business opportunities.
  • Can work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.
  • Is organised and able to manage a varied workload.
  • Has a full, clean driving licence.
  • Experience within engineering, construction, water, utilities or M&E industries would be a distinct advantage.

Senior Accountant

Location: Gortnahoe, Co. Tipperary

Campion Pumps is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to play a key role in our finance department. Working as part of our accounts team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial information, supporting month-end reporting, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Maintain the company’s accounting system, including Sage 200.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Prepare VAT returns and other statutory filings.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Monitor project costing, work in progress (WIP) and contract profitability.
  • Analyse project performance and provide financial insights to management.
  • Manage credit control activities, including monitoring debtor accounts, following up on outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Perform bank, supplier and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, accountants and financial institutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to provide financial support and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

About You

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience with Sage 200 or a similar ERP/accounting system is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with project costing, WIP reporting or contract accounting is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines.

Office Manager – Dublin

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join our Dublin office. This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in keeping things organised, and enjoys building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

As the central point of our Dublin office, you will provide administrative support to the Director and engineering team, coordinate office activities, assist with customer communications and billing administration, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Training will be provided on our software systems and internal processes.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Director and engineering team.
  • Managing office administration to ensure the efficient running of the Dublin office.
  • Supporting customer enquiries and maintaining excellent client relationships.
  • Preparing billing information and assisting with invoicing and administration.
  • Coordinating with our Accounts and Administration team in our Tipperary headquarters.
  • Managing correspondence, phone calls and general office communications.
  • Liaising professionally with customers, suppliers and contractors.
  • Prioritising workload and supporting the Director with daily planning and key tasks.
  • Maintaining office records, filing systems and company documentation.
  • Assisting with general office projects and providing administrative support across the business as required.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in office administration, office management, executive support or a similar role.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, approachable and confident dealing with customers.
  • A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Jet Vac Operator to join our growing operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating jet vacuum tankers to carry out cleaning, drainage, and environmental services in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate jet vac tankers for drain cleaning, sewer maintenance, and waste removal

  • Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks

  • Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures

  • Complete job paperwork and service reports accurately

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and customer service

  • Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • Full C or CE driving licence (essential)

  • Valid CPC qualification

  • Previous experience operating jet vac or similar plant (preferred)
